Chief Learning Officer, Dr. Nermeen Dashoush, joined MarcoPolo as the founding educator right after MarcoPolo launched its first app, MarcoPolo Ocean. Since then, Nermeen has led the development of all of MarcoPolo's content. Painstakenly detailed, Nermeen and her team oversee every word and every image of our video content and led the philosophy of our educational approach.
With a PhD in STEM and 10 years of experience in the classroom especially as a Kindergarten science teacher, Nermeen also knows what gets kids excited. From the human body to feeling and friendships, Nermeen's approach has led to industry leading engagement and products beloved by kids across the world.
We've developed the largest library of currriculum-aligned videos in the world.
We've raised over $35 million in funding to develop an extensive library of video content in multiple languages. We've also developed the technology to make that content content a "lean-forward" experience pairing our content with games and activities to take the learning offline.
We also produced a STEM TV series, The Polos. Co-produced by the creator of the Backyardigans, The Polos were designed to be a child's co-pilot in exploration taking kids to places like Space, The Rainforest and back in time to meet Dinosaurs.
